Fishing Facts
Fishing at the Old Swan & Minster Mill on the River Windrush is restricted to guests staying in the hotel.KEY SPECIES;
Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Barbel, Chub, Dace, Roach, Grayling, Bream, Pike and Rudd.
Type of fishing; Open to both fly fishing and coarse.

Old Swan & Minister Mill.
All fishing is on a catch and release basis.
Wading is not possible on the river as there are several pockets of deep water.
TYPES OF FLIES RECOMMENDED
May-Flys, Olive Dun,Blue Dun, Palmer, Gnat,Red Quill, Greenwells Glory, various weighted nymphs.
Wildlife seen on the river included Otters, Kingfishers, Coots, Herons and various meadow birds.
